SAG entry to Chile Affidavit
Chilean Law establishes that plants, animals, products, by-products and parts of plant or animal origin (including handicrafts), chemical and/or biological products for use in agricultural activities, pharmaceutical products for exclusively veterinary use and/or products for animal feed that are intended to be entered into the country, will be reviewed by a Border Control Official from the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) before their nationalisation, due to the risk that their entry from abroad implies, regardless of their quantity, container or time since received. The official will define the measure to be applied according to each product. For example, if after inspection it is confirmed that the product meets the established requirements, its entry will be authorised. On the contrary, if it is defined as a risk product, its entry will not be allowed, and the product will be eliminated.
